A rehabilitated river with a new park – better living conditions for poor urban residents
Mozambique is severely affected by climate change. In Beira, a port city in the centre of the country, the rising water levels in the city centre are affecting mostly poor people. A new public park along a rehabilitated river, reforested mangrove forests, and a new urban park administration and a modernized fishing port will help improve the living conditions of the poor residents in particular.
