Factsheet: Urban Innovation made in Africa – Sustainable Planning and Building
Factsheet of the global project "Urban innovation made in Africa" - Sustainable Planning and Construction. The project has three fields of action. The first one is to encourage a cross-sectoral policy dialogue with the climate and urban development/building ministries to create more coherence in international engagement on sustainable planning and construction. Parallel, in Rwanda, the project is conducting an Urban Lab process for affordable, needs-based housing solutions in high-density areas, utilizing sustainable building practices. In the third field of action, in a global peer learning series knowledge is shared among experts and practitioners worldwide to strengthen urban initiatives, partnerships and programmes and drive a just and inclusive urban transition.
