Integrated and Green Urban Mobility for the Mumbai Metropolitan Region

One of the world's largest metro networks is being built in Mumbai. KfW Development Bank on behalf of the German Federal Government is supporting the project with loans and technical assistance. This will not only relieve road traffic, but also the overcrowded commuter trains, in whose vicinity several people are killed in accidents every day.
